1. A year of holiday banners
I absolutely adore the banners from this Etsy shop Pearl & Jane. How fun would it be to grab several of these for major holidays and give them to the new home buyer? You could choose one or more of these banners like this one for New Year’s:
Or these two for Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July:
If it is in your budget you could get a garland/banner for all the major holidays and wrap them up. It would be such a fun gift!!
2. A Custom Address Stamp
The Print Mint is another Etsy shop that has a crazy amazing variety of custom address stamps! It would be so fun to get one of these made up and take it to a friend or client who has a new house. I don’t think you could go wrong with choices like these two:
3. A welcome mat (or a year of them!)
There are so many lovely door mat options available at Target, that I could easily pick out one for every month! I think it would be so fun to add a bow on a doormat and bring it to your friend’s house, or even order a few different holiday door mats and present them as a gift! Here are some options I love!
4. Funny Dish Towels
These towels are hilarious. Wiping up in the kitchen isn’t my favorite thing to do, but I feel like if I had these on hand it wouldn’t be so bad, don’t you agree? There are quite a few options available from the Etsy Shop JennifersClosetHi and for $5 each, you can’t go wrong! My personal favorites, “Don’t go Bacon my Heart,” “I Like Big Bundts,” and “Chop it like it’s Hot.” Haha!! These would also be a fun Mother’s Day Gift, Neighbor Gift, Girlfriend Gift…I love ’em!
5. A herb garden
This fun little herb garden kit is affordable and would be a great and easy gift to give. If you wanted to DIY this, it would be easy to grab a few pots (or a longer rectangular planter) and some already grown herbs (if you can’t find them at a home and garden store they often have plants in the grocery store produce section.
I hope this gives you a few ideas for housewarming gifts. A new home is such a special momentous occasion that it feels really good to have it recognized by a friend.
Happy Gifting!
