Bubbles are a universal favorite, right? It doesn’t matter how old you are, there is something magical about bubbles!

I was thinking a fun gift for a family or child would be a Biggest Best Bubble kit! This would be a gift so many kids would love to get!

What’s in this Gift

 

 

I put all of the necessary ingredients for a homemade GIANT bubble solution. We absolutely LOVE this  bubble recipe from BabySavers.com. The ingredients are inexpensive and it makes b-eau-tiful gigantic bubbles!

Dawn original Dish Soap (Make sure to get the original kind…it is cheaper and works best!)

Corn Starch

Baking Powder

Glycerin

We also need a bubble wand! I found this tutorial on Inner Child Fun.

You will need:

1/2 inch dowel (mine cost .39 at a craft store!

string 

2 small eye hooks

2″ diameter Washer  (much cheaper at Wal-mart or home improvement store!)

I was able to put the bubble wand together in about 2 minutes, seriously! It was so easy. I cut the dowels with a small saw, then screwed the eye hooks in by hand.

I also made another simple bubble wand using two straws with string put through them, and tied. To use these wants you hold the straws and dip them into the bubble solution.

I put all of the ingredients and the bubble wands into a tub (from the dollar store) that will double as the bubble solution holder. Woot!

Add a cute printable for bubble solution and wand instructions from the Gifty Printables Resource Library and voila! An adorable (and inexpensive!) gift. This would be so fun to use for birthday gifts. You could make an assembly line and put several buckets and bubble wands together easy-peasy.

What do you think? Wouldn’t this be a great gift? If it seems daunting you can buy everything and make it a little easier on yourself. It just won’t be as frugal. 😉
